My short story “The Sky Whale” is being published in Shimmer #16, to be released in mid-January. (More information and pre-orders available on Shimmer’s site.) Needless to say, I am extremely excited! Although this publication came as a result of my second acceptance letter, it’s the first to actually be released. Shimmer is an amazing speculative fiction magazine that recently began paying professional rates. I’m a big fan of their aesthetic.
I’ll update again in mid-January, as soon as my copy has come and I’ve had time to soak up all the other lovely stories featured in this issue. Shimmer‘s staff is amazing, and working with them has been a pleasure!
